32nd birthday

Today is my 32nd birthday. I think I’m going through a midlife crisis — for a present I bought myself the new Korn and Marylin Manson albums — more appropriate for someone 20 years younger.

But my excuse for Korn is that old drumming legend, Terry Bozzio (Missing Persons, Frank Zappa), played on 6 of the tracks with his ginormous drumset:

35 is now the official freak-out year, so you still got a few to go. Enjoy them while they last.

Marilyn also likes things that are 20 years younger, doesn’t he? 😉 Happy Birthday mate, best of luck in the year ahead.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’m 41 and have Manson on my iPod. Unfortunately, I also have the Wiggles. Hippo birdy two ewes.

Check out an album called “Sex and Religion”, by Steve Vai.

Great drumming by TB, TM Stevens on bass, and Devin Townsend (also of Devin Townsend band, Strapping Young lad, Ocean Machine) on vocals.

I saw Terry play his kit of Doom with the Zappa Family band last year, and he sang “I’m So Cute” and “Punky’s Whips” to boot. Wild!!!!!!
PS Yer only 32? You’re so boyish Pud! Congrats!
