iPhone madness

I just drove by the Apple store in San Francisco. There were at lest 50 people with lawn chairs, camping out (i assume) to buy an iPhone when they go on sale tomorrow morning.

The good news is that the Apple store is in the “tenderloin” district, a part of town best known for its homelessness and crackhead problem — so if one of those Apple geeks needs to take a late-night dump on the sidewalk, no one will look twice.

I want them to come out in Canada. I didn’t think people would be camping out for them. I suppose its like the Playstation 3 though.

You consider Union Square to be in the Tenderloin? Does the Tiffany & Co. there sell cardboard domiciles?

I was going to say the same thing – the Apple store in SF is NOT in the Tenderloin. The rest of the stuff about people not looking twice and such are probably still accurate though
