Study tips

Hey Pud,

Love your great website! I’m going to be taking the MCAT in April and wanted to know how to get motivated to study. Becoming a doctor has been a dream of mine, but I just cant bring myself to sit down and study.

Ever think about why people go to the gym to work out? It’s not because of the fancy weights. It’s not because they prefer a treadmill to real jogging. It’s because everyone at the gym is working out — it’s the only thing to do there.

Go to a library, same concept.

And if you find yourself getting distracted by all the books (dare yourself to sit near the music, business, or human sexuality sections…), ask your doctor about adult A.D.D. medication.

I ntoiced that When I worked 72 hours a week it didn’t bug me till I stopped I think it is all about routine. Study hard and don’t quit take 1 day off a week or somthing but Keep it the same day. Like a monday would be good. I say Monday because a weekend maybe to intense and you may stop studing.

Set a routine it will help. Here is mine:

    1. Brew large pot of coffee
    2. Review what needs to get done
    3. Get a cup of coffee because it is done brewing
    4. Review for the latest
    5. Review for the news
    6. Get another cup of coffee
    7. Start studying
