Truth serum

Why is it that when I’ve had many drinks and become intoxicated, I pull a disappearing act on my friends?

There’s no better way to learn about yourself, than by analyzing what you do while drunk.

Remember that alcohol does not make you do things you don’t want to do. To the contrary — it makes you more likely to do the things you really want to do. Sometimes that’s good, sometimes it’s bad.

So clearly, you leave you friends because you want to leave your friends. Therefore, the real question is, “what would you rather be doing?”

Next time, do that instead — and be pleasantly surprised.

Or how about the whole “alcohol is a depressant” angle?

What’s really great about intoxication is listening to women try to explain how they’re still wholesome, non-slutty individuals after their headache wears off from the night before.

Always good for a cynically-minded laugh.
